Premier Mapping was established in 1983 to offer a survey service to the mining industry.

Our scope now includes the engineering, environmental and exploration sectors. The focus being offering on-site integrated survey products and services.

Statutory Mine Plans (MHSA)

Strict legal requirements are set for Statutory Mine plans in terms of Regulation 17 of the Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996.

Stockpile Volumetric Calculations
Volumetric calculations of pit and stockpile volumes are required for audit purposes and for contractor payment reconciliations.

Topographical Mapping

Topographical maps, detail maps or vector line drawings are derived from aerial photography for the compilation of elevation data.

Photogrammetry / 3D Mapping

Photogrammetry is the practice of determining the geometric properties of objects from photographic images.

Digital Terrain Model (DTM)

Digital Terrain Models are captured from aerial imagery by experienced Photogrammetists to accurately reflect the elevation of the mapped area.

Contouring

Contours indicate the elevation of an area on a map to determine the general terrain.

Legal Appointments

We are appointed to a number of mines as the competent person in charge of surveying, mapping and mine plans in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
